I’ve been writing (creatively) for about six years now. I was playing far too much Playstation 2, and even though, at the time, I was possibly the best Pro Evolution exponent on the planet, I decided that it was best to do something a little more constructive with my life. I weighed it up, and decided to give either Bullfighting, hardcore porn, or creative writing ago. After losing a gonad in the nastiest goring seen in the Bullfighting circuit of Southern Spain, I was only left with one option: writing (there’s no room in hardcore porn for a man with one ball, which is the major reason for Hitler taking out his frustrations on Europe in the 1940s).
And here I am.
The Great Right Hope - The Sid Tillsley Chronicles.
The Great Right Hope is a trilogy of books based around Sid Tillsley, an alcoholic, chain-smoking, homophobic, obese benefit-fraudster from Middlesbrough, who discovers that he has the power to kill vampires with a single punch.
The first book in the series is also called The Great Right Hope, and was released in 2009 as a paperback and is also available as an e-book. To find out more and read some excerpts click on this link.
I say books, but at this moment in time, only one has been published. The second in the series, A Fistful of Rubbers, should be released by LL-Publications, Summer 2010.
Blogging
I started blogging in February 2009. I couldn’t really see the point at first, and thought I’d give it a go, to do a bit of advertising for my book. Turns out, I really enjoy it. I started out just rambling about general crap, but then gave an interview, reviewed a book, and things started rolling. I want to interview interesting people, creative people, people who are…well…different to the average bear. I like writing articles on any subject that I find remotely interesting, and my thang is putting a unique slant on them-my messed up mind.

Other Projects
At the moment, I am writing the screenplay for The Great Right Hope, which will take me quite a while, as I am going into this green as green, green grass.
The final book of The Great Right Hope series, I will write in 2010. After that, it will be time for a change, and I will move on to characters and stories, new. I have so many ideas, I just need the time.
